"We found the Dolphin to be clean throughout, the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the window was excellent well cooked and presented."

"We loved our stay here, it was so near to whitby centre. The room was good, a negative is no where to dry towels. We had to ask for more coffee and sugar, as we were staying three nights. We will recomnend a stay at Penny Hedge. Staff could not do enough for us , all very friendly and polite. We will come again now we know of the hotel . Caroline and Laura were helpful , we rang because we could not quite find your location on our sat nav. staff helped us on this matter and then found you quickley. kind regards to all at penny Hedge. "Just ten mins walk to town centre, few minute walk to north sea seaside, location is lovely. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, the shower has high water pressure which is good for after walking all day. The only one thing is kettle doesn't clean, some water left there when I check-in."

"As a single traveller I felt very safe and comfortable in this very conveniently located apartment. It’s quaint and had everything I needed a 2 night stay. Extra comfy bed. Whitby is absolutely lovely. The host Amarjit was extremely responsive and helpful with all my questions. I highly recommend this property "
