“It was amazing from start to finish. The apartment had everything that we needed, including an information pack full of knowledge and recommendations of the area. It was in a great location, close to all amenities, also with fantastic views. Would definitely recommend and stay again!”
“No parking card left in the unit. Took day and 3/4 to get it. We had to pay for parking till then. When we got home to see if the card was there the lady had gone into our bedroom (door had been closed) to use our bathroom. Were left a “starter” kit which included 1 tea bag, 3 coffee sachets and no sugar for 2 people 4 days. Front blinds covered in dust. Washbasin needed cleaning under the plug. It had pink slime there. WiFi connection details were in correct in instructions need updating....
“Clean and well equipped property ideally located for anything in Whitby - though of course, you should be aware that many streets in Whitby are steep and pavements narrow. A welcome pack was a nice touch. Recommended.”
“Really superb in all aspects. We couldn't have asked for more. As we were leaving we said to each other that if we come back to Whitby, we'd definitely try to stay here again. ”
“Excellent sea front property, well equipped, comfortable beds, lovely views and a few steps from Clara’s coffee shop. Great location to access the town and lots of free parking during the off-season. Possibly not suitable for those with mobility issues as property as accessible via 3 flights of stairs. We will definitely return”
“The location is ideal - central enough that it's easy to pop back during the day if needed but also tucked away so very peaceful. The cottage itself is very well equipped - there's a good selection of crockery, utensils, saucepans in the kitchen along with a dishwasher and washing machine and a fan in each bedroom. There are no blinds/curtains on the kitchen window but as it's at the back of the property that wasn't an issue. The lounge window looks out on to a walkway that whilst relatively...
“Great weekend in Mallard Cottage. Had everything we needed and really comfortable beds. Close to the harbour and restaurants. Loved Pescado Lounge and great fish and chips at Abbey Wharf on the balcony overlooking the harbour. Will definitely back for a return visit! ”
“There was 7 ladies celebrating a 50th birthday, this accommodation was perfect, very clean, everything you could think of that you would need for a weekend or even if you were there longer, the accommodation was exactly like the pictures showed. Very impressed and would definitely recommend and we would definitely stay there again - perfect 10/10”
“Fantastic stay, the decor in the cottage is very tasteful and it was very comfortable. Fantastic location too close the beach and restaurants. Fantastic view of the steps and abbey from the third bedroom. The only downside is the stairs are very steep and are a concern for children. We told ours not to use them at night (they are 6 and 8 years) and to shout for us.”
