Comfortable & quiet. A good spot to recharge if driving the northern highlands. Beds comfortable and is a good option for a family as we had 2 double beds.
This is a home acting as a B&B. No services, no food, be quiet always. Other than cleaning it's all self service. Not a bad place if all you intend to do is sleep.
Check in was hassle free, bedroom was large and comfy, bed was fantastic, room had dual sea views. Owner was incredibly helpful and went out of his way for us. Highly recommended.
A good base to stay for a few nights whilst visiting the area. Regretfully no breakfast was available - the local Tesco has a cafรฉ and the Alexander Bain Pub in the centre of Wick both have breakfast menus, with the latter doing cheap but good pub grub in the evening. Clean sheets and towels were provided and the (single) room itself had an en suite with shower, a kettle and TV. The room was lockable with its own key. The location was quiet and about 1 mile from the town centre. There was good parking available (5 or 6 cars), but the guest house must've been busy one night as I ended up parking on the road. Check-in details were e-mailed to me in time. A guest handbook and tourist information was provided in the room.
Really easy check in. Stunning clean room and excellent value for money. The off-street parking is right beside the property and easy to find.
The kitchen area with air fryer and microwave was really useful too.
Wouldnโt want to stay anywhere else if Iโm ever in Wick again. Our room was also so quiet we couldnโt hear any traffic noise.
Thank you so so much!
