"The most immaculately clean dog friendly hotel room I have ever visited. Absolute bonus having the complimentary spa use, the pool was lovely and warm and the jacuzzi was a dream. The food from the bar was delicious with many gluten free options. Tasha served us our food and she was a star so helpful and friendly. The only suggestion I could give to improve is modernising the hallways a little and improving the appearance of the room windows from the outside as they looked a little underwhelming on first arrival, however these are just superficial things as they were perfectly clean and everywhere else looked beautiful!"

"I was extremely happy when I pulled up here, the hotel looks like a National Trust property and the interior matches this theme. The staff were very pleasant and went above and beyond to my the stay comfortable. I chose the traditional English breakfast, it was enough to see my through to the evening and the quality was great. Having previously stayed in chain hotels in this area, I have decided to make this hotel my go to :) "

"Awful service. Dining area and bar area full of dirty plates and glasses - staff kept walking past them. staff more bothered about having a chat than serving at the bar, reception or restaurant."

"We were asked on the first night not to eat in the restaurant as they had two bus trips and it would be noisy and service would be slow. We struggled to get a seat in the bar area, eventually getting a seat at a low table, not ideal for eating at. Service at the bar was very slow, I got my meal eventually, my friend had to ask where his was and was served eventually. Second night was not much better, we did insist on eating in the restaurant and it was a bit more civilised. The bar was very busy and the staff really struggling."

"Air conditioning did not work but the room was really hot, you couldn't open the windows apart from a crack due to safety locks so hotel room was really hot. Building works on my floor so the area smelt of paint, coming down the stairs from floor 2 the paint isn't finished off needs all cutting in. "
