Cathy’s Cottages was so nice. Yes, it is a bit older and rustic, but that is what you want when you come to Big Bear Lake. Everything was clean in the cottage and it was very peaceful. We loved the memory foam mattress, the fireplace on a timer and the jetted tub. It was a perfect weekend getaway. Also you can park your car right out in the space in front of your unit. Amanda was such a sweetheart checking in on us because we were arriving very late from Las Vegas and she wanted to make...

Absolutely Wonderful Stay! We had an amazing stay at Knickerbocker Mansion and Estates! The property is beautiful, charming, and peaceful. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The atmosphere made us feel right at home, and the hospitality was excellent. Patrick was very friendly, thoughtful, and responsive throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily come back again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Absolutely adorable cabin! We had a wonderful stay! Very clean, comfortable beds and the fireplace made the living area so cozy! There is free pressed coffee but if you take your coffee with sugar or cream we suggest you bring some as they only provide the coffee. There is a fridge, freezer and microwave. And bikes are available to use. The cabins are within walking distance to the Village. Wish we had more time to stay longer!

This place was so nice and cozy, i would say better than the pictures even. Fireplaces upstairs and downstairs were a hit, and it was super quiet at nice. A great place to get away and rest. We even extended our stay and had them deliver more firewood it was so nice. I would gladly return, or at least see what else Cool Cabins has to offer. Close to the lake and shops nearby, but away from traffic and backs onto the forest. Whats not to like?
