“I stayed only a few nights and had wonderful experience. Place is relatively easy to find - this relaxing walk through the green park was a big joyful bonus. Very clean room, comfy bed, good shower. Attention to detail in any aspect. So, it was a real pleasure to return to my room after spending a day in a busy town. Thank you Fiona and Ricardo for making my stay so special. I won't hesitate to rebook again.”

“I LOVED Carol. She was welcoming and kind, made an amazing breakfast for me, answered all my questions. A great hostess. My room (12) was super clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of pillows and extra blankets. Nice big TV. The water pressure was really low but I think that’s typical in older buildings. The garden was peaceful and I enjoyed sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine. Great stay. Traveled from Canada.”

“A wonderful, clean,air condtioned room and staff can be contacted 24/7 if any problems. Bed was very comfortable and being left a small bottle of milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Parking was no problem at all in front of buillding. Did have any food but all looked lovely. Would definately recommend.”

“The staff, particularly Caroline and Kristina, were extremely welcoming. Great location within easy walking distance to the train station and close to sites in the center of old town. One of the best of the nine places that we stayed during our trip to the UK.”

“This is a wonderful guesthouse. The location was ideal for us less than a 10 minute walk into the town centre. The room was very comfortable with fantastic tea and coffee facilities. It was quiet and well decorated. We parked on the road outside the guesthouse and were provided with a permit that was valid until midday. There is a wonderful café just across the road that is well worth visiting as well.”

“Room was lovely, but the mattress was obviously old as it sagged in the middle. The hotel is right on a main road so a lot of noise and music playing till very late in the evening. It’s ok for an overnight stay but wouldn’t recommend longer”

“Clean, comfortable room in a location giving easy access to the centre of York. Not really for 4 grown up people though. More like 3. Perhaps 2 adults and 2 children would've been OK. The second bed was small. ”

“스탭들 다친절함 심지어 조식먹을때 내이름불러주며 뭐먹고싶냐고물어서 깜짝놀랐음..나혼자 동양인이라 쉽게외운거일수도있지만 조금 감동. 엘베없지만 체크인할때 미리 짐도 스탭이 올려주시고 요크 지도주면서 호텔위치 시내위치 다가르쳐주고 마주칠때마다 웃으면서 인사해줌. 조식도 메뉴많고 조리해줘서 따뜻하고 든든하고 좋음. 근데 역에서 좀 걸어야하고 캐리어가 더해져 너무힘듦 그리고 세면대완전작음..그치만 다른게 완벽..☆”

“This was the worst experience I have ever had with an Expedia property. The hotel was ranked a 4 star, and is at best a 2 start. It was filthy, had no elevator or air conditioning. The rooms were dismal and there was no way to raise the window to let in air to address the stifling heat. But mostly it was dirty and worn. The carpet and curtains were disgusting. We wanted to leave our luggage the next day because we had a train at 5pm, but we were told the hotel does not accommodate tourists...

“역에서 거리가 있고 버스배차시간이 길어서 택시를 이용하면좋다. 숙소는 정말 깨끗하고 근사했다. 식당을 함께 운영하여 조식도 맛있고 저녁을 사먹기에도 좋다. 너무 친철하시고 따뜻한 곳이었다. 주변에는 관광지가없어 조용하고 여유롭다. ”
