"Staff were great, and breakfast was pretty good too! Great location, but I'd only advise if you are fit and able. Lots of stairs and steep roads around. Room was great, bed good and clean. The shared bathroom was ok too. Some noise but nothing some ear plugs couldn't solve. Weather was mid 20s and did not have issues with it at night. Just keep the shutter closed during the day! "

"The staff are wonderful. Cherry and helpful. The place is older and worn. Beds squeak a lot but are comfortable. As with most hostels, there is very little room in the bathrooms!! No place to put down your toiletry bag (except in the sink) PLEASE add some shelves. Some stools (on which to place clothes so they don’t get wet on the floor) would improve the functionality immeasurably! But again, the staff is wonderful. Breakfast was adequate too 👍"

"For budget traveler , this place is a steal. Old world charm. Dated elements but strong renovations has been made to the rooms. Maybe the room that was given to me was the fault because I was given a room next to the stairs and can hear the conversation and foot steps of other guests. "

"It was a pleasant boutique hotel right in the heart of everything. I was pleasantly surprised by how pretty the decors were and also given free snacks, drinks, teas and coffees in the room for the entire stay, I stayed somewhere else and moved here during my stay due to ease of access. I also extended my stay as I loved the hotel. Great hotel If you are a tourist looking to walk everywhere and be at the heart of everything."

"This property is a gem. Just a minute walk from the metro in a quiet and safe business district. Many food choices and cafes. I especially like the space of the room. It is a fuss-free establishment, with good toiletries fitting. I would definitely recommend this establishment to practical, neat and fuss-free travellers! "

"Excellent and extremely helpful staff. We stayed five days and have thoroughly enjoyed the time. Nightly music which we enjoyed from an open window and short walks everywhere for dining and shopping. Elevator to our third floor room is too small but no other downside for us."

"Like some of the reviews have already described this place..I really wondered what type of accommodation this is supposed to be, a school? A prison? A youth hostel? Definitely the strangest place I’ve stayed in and wished I’d read the reviews before booking, as I’d booked it in a rush. Stayed in 6bed female dorm, locked with a physical key rather than the normal electric which meant that I wasn’t “allowed” to lock it at night while I slept, which was scary as a solo female traveller bc anyone...

"You can hear other people quite easily. It does smell a bit. But it was perfect for what we needed. We slept there, showered there and then went out during the day "

"Good location, close to shopping areas and the centre, and the starting point for your buses is near. Breakfast isn’t very good, consists only of pastries and instant coffee. The hotel kept cancelling my bookings because my card was blocking international transactions and I had to pay before checking in, which I found a bit weird considering I saw people paying for their stay after check out but I give them the benefit of the doubt. The property isn’t easily accessible for disabled people and no...
