I read some of the comments about five star hotel in previous reviews while the hotel itself may not be a five-star the staff and the service is easily five-star… I laugh at some of the comments…. if you want little slippers and matching housecoat, look like a prince and princess, then go to Palace… the meals were suburban with the first class chef from Brazil… when I came to the restaurant bar you couldn’t want more for service and quality…. awesome place for a weekend getaway… so inconvenient to get to some of the winery for tastings, but make the best of it…."

"Consider the price, very reasonably priced. The rooms are small, bathroom even smaller. 10min walk out of the main town in a slightly grubby area but very good value for the price. Plentiful breakfast. No coffee or tea in the room. No safe."
