"Stayed in room 1 for a business trip. Really nice and helpful staff. It looks like it is slowly being modernised as it is an old building but facilities are good with a great location. Definitely want to return in future for leisure with my partner. "

"All was excellent from communication prior to arrival to check out. Charming hosts made me feel welcome. Room was clean and comfortable I was visiting the sights and everywhere was within easy range. A range of food places close by including a wetherspoons with great prices. "

"A really nice couple of days. Helena and Chris were lovely hosts. There were little touches like fresh fruit in a basket that you were asked to help yourself and a great breakfast. A better stocked bar would be useful but I'm sure the owners have this in mind for the future. All in all no request was too much for them and we'll definitely be visiting again."

"Only stayed for one night but could have happily stayed longer. Hotel have a homely feel inside and a lovely view from the front. Easy walking distance into the centre of town."

"This property is well placed and easy to find. The accommodation is good - although some more attention to detail eg the condition and quantity of cutlery (fine if you are a group of 2 but bring friends in or have more in your party then there is a problem) There was only 1 tall class which we shared. A second oven proof/microwave dish would be useful too. Nevertheless we had a good stay."
