"We actually ended up in the bay Lan Ha next to Ha Long. Same scenery but less boats. Our craft was called Paradise Grand. Just delightful with delicious food and fun activities like cooking class, cave tour, village visit. Cannot recommend more highly. Not the cheapest choice so favoured by couples over 35 I would say. Not a party boat"

"The overall area of the guesthouse is quite large, they have two dining areas (though only one was used) and a small manmade pond with seating area around it. Lots of plants and greenary, so we were excited to get to our room thinking it would be warm and welcoming as well... which it wasn't really unfortunately. He knows all the best spots to go and has access to some of the best restaurants on the island. On top of this the hotel was modern, clean and the restaurants food was incredible.
