"Honeymoon suite was incredible, huge and beautiful, very large outdoor private terrace (though semi overlooked by next door). Great experience, though would have liked more time cruising (we had a 45 minute tender boat transfer) and as all these cruises, tried to pack too much activity into a short time and sadly even Lan Ha Bay was busy with lots of rubbish in the water. Food was good including lots of vegetarian options. Overall very good. "

"The hotel was situated in a secluded area, separated from the rest of the town. The staff members were exceptional - they treated me like family. Every single person, from the employees on the 17th-floor bar to those at the front desk, was incredibly sweet, well-mannered, polite, and helpful. I had such a great experience that I can't wait to go back, and next time, I plan to bring along even more friends."

"The whole trip was great experience for a two night package to see Ha Long Bay. The Cruise ship was well appointed and a great base to see the UNECO Heritage site. A few small concerns: the beaches we visited had a lot of rubbish, all boats/ships should invite customers to pick-up the rubbish to help preserve this special environment. Also the ship should have videos and other media which better present the site and environmental goals etc., as this was poring covered by staff."

"This is a beautiful beachfront resort. The view is amazing! If the ocean is rough or not your thing, the pool is also wonderful. It is a very busy place and we found the noise to be a bit much so be prepared for this. We had the buffet breakfast included in our package and the food was good with a nice selection however they tended to run out of items after 8:30 or so. The rooms are beautiful and it was enjoyable to relax on the balcony. I recommend the 2-nights/3-days if you can. We truly got to enjoy Halong Bay to the fullest. "

Upon checking in, we were surprised to be asked to pay an additional fee for our 8-year-old daughter who is considered an additional adult rather than a child. Our hotel suite was very nice, fairly new, and had a view of Sun World’s Sun Hills. When we checked in, it was extremely busy due to Vietnamese Labor Day and Reunification Day (lots of tourists being bussed in and out each day) but the last few days of our stay were very quiet and we...

"The staff are all amazing, the boast was in good condition, a few small wear and tear things, but nothing that detracts. We looked at so many cruises and I think at this price point they are all similar, except the dinners were buffet which I was not expecting, and they were just average buffet. The lunches were great. Breakfast buffet was also average but I think they were doing the best with what they had and expect they would all be similar. The experiences were great and it is an amazing...

"Can’t fault the cruise or the staff who were brilliant.. But if you get up early to marvel at the views of a world UNESCO heritage site your going to be extremely disappointed and annoyed to see a HUGE amount of floating rubbish deposited by boats of all kinds including the boats that brought you there..!! We did see one small boat attempting to clean up some rubbish with a small net with very little impact. Please Vietnam look after your UNESCO site a lot better than you are."

"The boat is a mid range cruise nothing fancy but still clean and comfortable. The itinerary itself follows the same as every other boat doing these tours. It’s really only 3 activities in 2 days. The 2nd day is a 30 min kayak and then you spend all morning on the boat and waiting at the dock for the return. If you really want to explore Halong bay I wouldn’t recommend this. Also drinks on board are super expensive! "
