Very nice and comfy room

Cannot find any fault at this hotel. Did not try out the pool, and sadly the rooftop bar was not open. Hotel felt fresh and clean. Room in nice size even the one I had with no window. Bathroom and shower is spacious enough. Bed is comfortable. Everything smells nice. Breakfast is okay.

The hotel is located in a quieter and cleaner part of the district. You can walk to most attractions - beach or ropeway or restaurants. Lobby and rooftop are pretty, so are stairs. Nice restaurant part of the hotel. The front office staff were wonderful, always smiling and helpful - 7* for them. Lovely Sunrises can be seen from the pool deck of Halong Bay. Would surely return to the hotel.

Let me start with staff they were helpful and friendly. Upon arrival, the lobby, common areas, and room was hot as hell even the room doors where sweating. The room itself was very narrow, little room to move around. The curtains, shower, and hair dryer bag had mold. Went to the bar to get a drink, and there were little bugs, crawling around on the coaster that they provided with drink. The breakfast was decent nothing to write home about. Overall, the facility, lack cleanliness.

This property was beautiful, the rooms were spacious and equipped with everything you need. The problem was is that it is to quiet. It is like a ghost town. There is nothing to do , no night market a lot of vacant properties. Very quiet. It was December so I guess it is low season. Breakfast was great and a large variety. It was wonderful for one night. Beds were very comfortable.

Positive things I like about the property is the staff was great they booked my car service to my next destination and book my cruise in Ha Long bay., The location was not far from the beach, night market, and food options. I also would say the free breakfast had a good selection. The hotel also had a nice old vintage glam to the lobby. The location made it easy to catch a grab anywhere and if you like nightlife this location is not far from the beach clubs you can hear the music from your room. Room for improvement because of “let’s call it eco friendly” the AC is completely of when area is not used the curtains in the room can use washing from mold at the bottom and mold in shower. Now was it horrible absolutely not but noticeable. Also because the AC is off the room, hallway and bedroom was hot. I did have to go and request a 2nd key because I just can not return to a hot room.

Grand Fleuve go to great lengths to provide you hotel experiences right up there with the best. It's a lovely boutique style hotel with all the trimmings and the huge rooms are so well equipped with everything you will ever need. The pool on the roof is definitely a plus and the poolside area is perfect for chilling on a lazy afternoon. Breakfast options are very basic but since it was included with the price of the room, it's nothing to complain about. Hotel coffee is as expected so drink some juice and head out the the hundred coffee shops within walking distance to get your Vietnamese Caphè fix. Overall it was a grand stay and I will certainly return if I'm back in Ha Long Bay.

Au niveau de l’hotel tout était proche de la perfection. Le secteur était par contre presque désert. Plusieurs commerces ont fermé leur porte voyant le peu d’affluence. Beaucoup de construction de nouveaux quartiers complets dans Ha Long. Dans quelques années cette ville sera méconnaissable
