Nokomis 2 Stars Hotels

"The room was really good, great amenities, and nice pool. It’s extremely close to the beach and local shops and dining. I will say the one problem was there was no clear mentioning that the tiki bar is right in front of room doors. Our room was in the corner of the tiki bar right behind the stage where subpar singers played. Music was super loud inside our room but luckily it turned off by 9. But what can you expect when you get a really cheap rate for a hotel 2 minute walk from the beach. "

"It was so noisy people going in and out all hours in the back door. We heard loud music from the parking lot. Every time the back door shut our door shook like it was going to open so we had to put all the locks on to make sure it wouldn't open. The shower was dirty. One of the towels had a black stain on it, so we used it for a floor towel. The bed was so comfy and it was perfect for what we needed but I wouldn't recommend that room again to anyone. "

"Staff was nice and helpful. Place is very old and rundown. A/C very cold. Location is good, next to a new publix, taco bell, on a main street. All towels and sheets stained thou. "

"Check-in was very last minute (on my part for the booking), but when I arrived the room was ready. There was a generic funky smell at the stairs, but that's pretty typical for Florida. Staff was very helpful with a broken dryer while they were walking by. Only thing I think would have been better would have been maybe a mosquito trap or repellent inside the rooms. I had 1 mosquito inside during my stay & he tore my ass up. Also a different soap/shampoo/conditioner would be kinda nice. Those...
