"Great apartment, nice and warm with a fan if you need to cool down, lovely view from the apartment, our host was very helpful to us, 44 bus route to haymarket and edinburgh centre was directly outside our door, the room was clean and comfortable, shower was easy to operate and any other people in rooms below us were all quiet and considerate of us and eachother would recommend! "My partner and I spent three nights here for the festival, and it's a clean student accommodation. The good thing is the reception is 24 hours, and the room is clean. Also, it's a walking distance to the most sightseeing spots in Edinburgh. However, the twin bed is difficult for two adults even though I am small. "The staff of the a&o are excellent. They are the reason why I gave this place a 5 star. For a hostel, it was also very clean and well taken care of. I appreciated the restaurant and bar that was on the ground level. It was a nice place to relax and wait for our room to be ready. It was minimal amenities and the front elevator was out, so we had to climb stairs or walk around to the back of the building for the other elevator. However, this was a small inconvenience. "Great location for city. Really terrible cheap mattress, you could feel every spring digging in your back or side. I feel sorry for the students staying at this uni. Everything else was good, but if you want to sleep well, go elsewhere. "

"Ocean Mist was so charming and beautifully located in Leith, right on the Harbour surrounding by outdoor dining and a 2 minute walk from the tram into Edinburgh centre. The accommodation was very cute and the breakfast pastries from a delicious local French bakery. The staff were excellent, friendly and attentive, from Toni who helped us on arrival, to William who hosted our stay. "I booked this properly as it was only 15 minutes back To the airport drop off for my hire car following a 2 week holiday to Scotland, including Edinburgh and the Scottish Highlands. The room, bar and restaurant were all right next to each other which was convenient and I was suprised how quiet it was when sleeping which was great. "Great location for exploring Edinburgh, city centre is easily walkable. Arrived late due to transport issues and host was very accommodating. Room was downstairs so no windows, but was clean and a nice place to stay in. Private bathroom wasn’t en suite which wasn’t an issue, but I feel like this could have been made clearer when booking. Other than that, great price for a very convenient location. "
