A great alternative choice for staying near Alice Springs. Only 10 minutes from town. "The place looked abandoned & not open. Absolutely zero communication from the host about checkin process. The property had no access, was surrounded by a high wall & had high grass surrounding it on all sides. I repeat - it looked abandoned & very sketchy. My husband decided not to even stay there because it did not look to be in a safe area. We went to the Hilton Doubletree instead, which is a lovely hotel in Alice. I cannot recommend anything at all about VATU Sanctuary. "
