My only issue however was that there was an unpleasant smell in our room. I had booked a window room but it turned out the window room was in the middle of the corridor not a window you could view the outside from ."

"Hostel B47 is ideally positioned centrally near to the main shopping area and not far from bus station. Also it is only a five minute walk from the Halgrims church which has a very high tower. Easy to find your way back to the Hostel as the tower makes a good marker."

"We had the private room and bathroom and it was more like a luxury hotel than any hostel we could imagine. Comfy beds and a rain shower! Also conveniently located just up the road from the Black sand beach and a short drive into Vik. Beautiful views from the room as well! Would highly recommend "

"This is not a comment about the Start Hostel but about Expedia which seems to have deteriorated dramatically as a service provider in recent month. I went to check in for my stay starting May 28th - 29th and the system booked a room for me for May 27th - 28th. When I attempted to contact Expedia on their Virtual Chat or to Cancel the reservation, the system gave an error and would not let me do the same. Start Hostel was EXCEPTIONAL in trying to help in every way possible. Get it together...
