"Lovely hotel room and in a convenient location, in the middle of Basingstoke town centre. Only issue was a leak from the bath tub."

"Friendly staff in reception and restaurant, amazing facilities clean and little things that are considered eg bag for wet swimwear in pool. Only complaint is the electrical equipment in room is out of date for PAT testing( I'm a health and safety officer so notice these things) and the food in restaurant, mainly breakfast could be improved as it was cold... Might be better to let guests order as they come in than the buffer style"

"Hotel staff were friendly, room was clean even though the hotel seems a bit old and tired and there was a little bit of an odd smell in the room. It was quiet at night and the area felt safe."

"We booked a room for one night to be closer to Heathrow Airport for a flight the next day. After confirming that a late night check in was available, we arrived around 10.30 pm. We were offered a wake up call at checkin which was thoughtful. We asked for a nightcap at the bar, and were told he could bring it to our rooms if we wanted to.
