"Nice hotel, friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable. It’s in at the top of the hill overlooking Knysna and not walkable. Not much in Knysa except the waterfront. It’s an overprice place for food and not much to see. The hotel was nice but I would stay in Plettenberg Bay instead. "

The Dunes hotel itself is well run and just outside the bustling town of Plettenberg bay. Sadly we did not get to stay there. The manager, Neil had previously sent Expedia information about the scam in the weeks preceding our booking but unfortunately we were still scammed. "Our room was nice, by the entrance of the property. Very comfortable and with everything needed for a one night stay. Great breakfast. Nice common areas. Located a few blocks fron main street."

"The dog, Reacher, is super friendly. Water is only rain water so must be used sparingly. The little space is great for a short stay but would be cramped for extended periods. Beautiful garden with little pond right on your doorstep, but careful of wasps. "
