"I felt that the property reeked of cigarette smoke from the bar downstairs all the way up to our rooms. I wasn’t happy with that."

"Hotel Central is very well located just a block from the main train station, close to the lake and the famous bridge, right in the middle of town. The room was comfortable, very clean and the price was reasonable. The staff at the desk were friendly, well informed and very willing to answer questions. Breakfast was excellent too. "

"We have stayed here twice. The rooms are clean and nice. I would give it 5 stars but our shower had black spots in the sealant along the base, looks very unsightly and the shower glass door wouldn't slide closed without having to physically lift the thing up as you slide it, a pain in the butt. Otherwise we like staying here because it is very convenient to the river and bridges, not too expensive (for Switzerland), the front desk is great and the breakfast is very good! I will stay again :)"

"We had a great four night stay at the Lubo! The room was clean and very well maintained and we had a gorgeous view of the town and the mountains in the distance. The free laundry facilities and coffee and tea were excellent! There are many shops and restaurants near by and walking around was perfect! We would absolutely recommend the Lubo to anyone and would stay again! "

Thoughtful comforts of supplying a transformer /electric plug and cell phone holder near toilet . Worn carpet in hallways and you have to step a five inch height to get to the shower stall . Clean linens and towels . "

"It must have some shady guests before ... there were signs to tell guests not to cook in the room, sign to tell guests about CHF 100 fine for letting the water leaked from under the shower door. BTW, the shower door is leaking if one uses its rain curtain shower head on top. The only way to avoid the water spilling on the door and leaking out of its bottom gap is to use the hand held. So it is an architectural design fault that the management tried to pin on the guests if they, God Forbid,...

"This was a very comfortable location. My family and I stayed in the family room. The kids loved the loft area. The hotel was convenient to the train. The parking was easy to use. The hotel was quiet and breakfast was nice! I would love to stay again one day "
