"Well where do I start, the staff were excellent as they were so helpful, caring and very friendly. The hotel had a great atmosphere and the food was excellent as well as being very tasty. Being treated by the cat was lovely as it was so friendly and waited for us at the top of the stairs when we came to our room. So much looking at planning to go back for another visit."

"The Bed & Breakfast was further from the main road than I was expecting but this resulted in a very quiet stay. Parking and wi-fi are available. A very good breakfast with plenty of choice was included in the price. We used the Thai Restaurant in the village as recommended for our evening meal which was very good. There is not an obvious reception area but the call button prompted a member of staff to appear who showed us to our room."

"An old building with historic interest situated in a town with many interesting old building which is well worth a walk around. The staff were friendly and helpful. Evening meals and Sunday carvery were tasty and specials were explained. A thing to note is that there is no lift so mobility needs to be good to walk up stairs which was not a problem for us. Enjoyed our stay here and will be back next year as still much more to explore in the ares"

"What a great find! The food was excellent and the owners were friendly and welcoming, I would highly recommend the steak and stilton pie and by all accounts the lamb shank is great. Rooms were well-appointed, clean and comfortable."

"The room was clean however it is smaller than we expected but it was worth for money. Free parking available however it gets busy in the evening because the people those who are coming to pub also use the same carpark. The hotel situated in a great location. Aldi and Tesco Extra are few minutes walking distance. Curry house and kebab shops are close too."
