“From the moment I arrive, the reception staff is lovely, and the rooms are very clean. The room was very clean. Could not fault the hotel.”

“Parking was easy. Check-in was difficult as hours were limited and their phones didn’t work to discuss later check-in arrangements. Check out was 10:00, but was asked to return the keys by 9:30.. Room was cute and historic looking. Breakfast is lack lustre. Real eggs and butter vs “spread” would have made all the difference. Similar priced, but nicer places are nearby. Look around first. ”

“Room was small but suited the purpose when in a bind. Food was good & staff are easy to get on with. Gets a little loud at times but that comes with the territory. It meets the standards that you would expect when staying at a pub. Friendly atmosphere. I would recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere to lay your head & get some shuteye for a reasonable price.”
