“Truly a travelers hotel”

“This is a beautiful property. I stayed in the lodge and it was quiet and comfortable. It had a main kitchen where you were set up with a coffee pot, filters and coffee, a keurig (bring your own cups) and basically a full kitchen with all appliances available to cook a meal and a table to eat at and read the paper. . The entrance lobby is a big beautiful room and a back porch. The restaurant is good and the staff warm and friendly The fly shop is where you check in and they couldn’t be more...

“Our stay at Allegheny Springs was great. We were on the first floor so we had walkout access to the pool area. A short walk to several restaurants and shops. Fantastic mountain view.”

“I stayed in room 8 on a Monday night. The room was clean and quiet which was really good for a light sleeper. However, the two things I did not like was that there really wasn't much space to just put your things down. I was traveling light since it was just an overnight on a two day motorcycle trip. If I had been with my wife with a suitcase, it would not have worked. The shower is very small and the floor is not firm and found it challenging to move around. Luckily I am relatively thin...

“There was quite a bit of hair in the tub around the drain when we first checked in. It was kind of icky to see that. The room itself was nice though. I'd go back when I want to visit Snowshoe, WV or the surrounding area. The property is right in the middle of the village, which is nice. Close to restaurants and shops.”

“The room was a dated and basic furniture was uncomfortable. Dining options are limited to one restaurant and a coffee shop. There were 2 fire alarms on back-to-back nights and when we went to leave, the parking lot was not plowed ”

“It was halfway clean. The last night there it cooled off so we were able to sleep UNTIL 3am when the smoke detector battery started beeping. The first two nights were miserable to sleep. Living room and kitchen were halfway cool but the thing they called an air conditioner was worthless in the bedroom. Couldn’t open windows because of all the partying and the big spotlight that was kept on all night. We had two portable fans only one worked. Won’t be returning to this property EVER. ”

“This is an excellent property to consider staying at if you’re visiting Snowshoe. There is a shuttle service that can take you to the main resort on-call. The owner is very responsive and helped us find the unit easily. The place was well-kept and clean upon arrival.”

“Great location right beside the bike trail. Big room, newly remodeled. The Bike storage was great as well. I would highly recommend this location. The only drawback was the traffic noise on the street.”
