"A warm welcome , a good meal , a relaxing bath , a comfortable bed and a quiet location, what more can you ask for. have stayed at this hotel many times in the past, and have always been made very welcome . It’s not the most chic hotel in the world, but definitely has the important features sorted. The restaurant menu is simple but good and reasonably priced. The breakfast is good value and varied. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly and a credit to the hotel. A special mention must be...

"This is an okay property. A bit lower than Canadian standards, but not bad. The only real complaint was the noise. Just a lot of lound hallway noise and very squeaky floors. Would stay here again. Just not in the same row of rooms with the squeaky floor. "

"The room was a long way up on the second floor. No lift and very steep final flight of stairs. The curtain was not hung properly and the WC (and therefore the rest of the small room) was very smelly. The fire alarm went off just as i was getting to sleep and we were all out on the pavement for an hour, en deshabille. "
