"Our stay at the Nesean Plaza was so nice. This stay was a part of our Honeymoon. We got a bottle of champagne and a plate with fresh fruit when we arrived! The staff was very kind. And most important, the room was so clean! We got clean towels everyday. Breakfast was a buffet and had enough optione to choose from. If we go to Crete (Heraklion) we would stay in this hotel again. Really recommend this hotel!"

"The hotel location is fantastic, very peaceful, with well kept and beautiful grounds. Food is excellent, staff and service equally so. Whilst the rooms are basic ours was very clean and the swim up pool, whilst shared with two other rooms, felt private. We had a wonderful ten days all inclusive, which was excellent value. We'd 100% return! Not a place to go if you're bothered about watching television 🙂"

I liked the location directly opposite the beach, there are no Sun loungers but hotel will provide a beach towel but it’s quiet and not touristy. "Decent hotel for the money. Pictures are deceiving. Pool has limited chairs. Did not eat at the hotel at all because there was always a faint smell of vomit. Room was old and needs updating. The housekeeper opened the door to the deck daily which made the room extremely hot upon entering and you are unable to leave on the air conditioning when you leave the room. The smallest shower I’ve ever seen with no wash rags available."

Peninsula Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

"The Peninsula is top tier. The staff from the moment we walked in, were AMAZING! There were some staff (at the bars, and the lady with the blonde bob in the restaurant. She is very mean and rude), that were not as friendly as the other staff but everyone else made up for it. They were are all so helpful and friendly. Especially the front desk and housekeeping staff. They are exceptional! The amenities are all very well maintained. The staff I mentioned are the only reason I did not give stars. I do love the Peninsula and plan to return. I hope those staff members have been addressed and are more friendly. The food was okay. They didn’t have a lot of popular Greek options like gyros, lamb, Greek salad, etc. I think they were trying to cater to the non-Greek guests but it’s Greece and I would have appreciated more Mediterranean food. The resort is IMMACULATE! I mean not a speck of dust anywhere. The floors are clean and shiny. The housekeeping staff along with the front desk staff really make the Peninsula sparkle. Thanks to them it stands out as a premium luxury resort."
