Papagayo Peninsula 4 Stars Hotels

"There is no wait staff at any of the resort except in the restaurants. In bars and at pools you have to go to the bar yourself. There is very limited shade at the pools. Only loungers and no sitting tables. Seats in the shade get towels on them as early as 6am. The food is limited in selection although the wings, burgers and fries from the grill at lunch were great. 3 out of 4 of us got diarrhea and puking at some point over the 2 weeks there. 2 got very sick for a few days. Not alcohol related."

"The resort was very clean. The staff was very nice and eager to make sure you stay was wonderful. The food was above average. The pool and surrounding area was absolutely fabulous. The only thing that needs to happen if this resort is an upgrade at rooms very outdated"

"The room and linens were very clean, the staff was extremely friendly. It was all inclusive, and I did not feel like we were being limited by anything, the food was great. The location was perfect, on the beach."
