Took a deep breath and booked 4 nights at the Horseshoe … and it was the PERFECT choice! To address some of the issues noted in the reviews … 1) check-in was EASY and QUICK using the kiosk - I recommend this even for a tech-phobes (they have people there to help you if you need them), 2) never had a problem with slow elevators,...

"We stayed there for 3 days on day one we got stuck on the elevator for a good 10 minutes. We then told the staff and they said “oh yea that one doesn’t work” 😑 but there were no signs on it or anything, they didn’t put one after we told them either. Also when checking in the staff was very rude didn’t really care for any questions we had. In my opinion it’s an overly absurd amount of extra charges that they do when you get there that you are no aware of. Disappointing "

"I loved our stay here and would definitely come back. The pool area is what really did it for me, but our room was amazing and the amenities were great. The only thing we didn't like was that right after you check in, a young salesperson grabs you right before you get on the elevator to try and make a sales pitch for a timeshare, and did his best to not let me just go up to my room after an all-day drive from AZ. Please Hilton, this can go. "
