However, it was very disappointing that the only place to eat in the hotel on Sunday night was in Rumba. It is a small area and a very limited menu. My wife is temporarily handicapped and when she tried to go to the bathroom outside of Rumba, she found it closed for renovation. She was forced to go up to the second floor to use a bathroom. "I found this property last minute, booking the day of travel. It is a gem! The employees were all so friendly and the history of the property (revolutionary war era) is fascinating! It was a 1-mile walk to historic Salem, MA. I can’t say enough good things about the Inn and especially the employees. Highly recommend this quaint, charming destination. "
