"We absolutely love this place. It is a perfect resort. The pool and swim up bar is well designed, convenient, and fun. The food is fantastic and the staff is so kind and attentive. We would come back in a heartbeat. We did an excursion with the resort to Saona island which was beautiful and well worth the price. The beach does have seaweed, but if you’re not picky, this place really is a special resort."

"Stayed for 7 days. The first few nights we were on the first floor and just be mindful that it gets really humid. Everything felt moist, even things in my luggage after a few hours. The ground floor has the perk of an outside lounger, but that also takes away your privacy. The morning staff were also very loud, having loud conversations with each other starting at 8AM. As people on vacation, I’d expect staff to be a little more courteous about people wanting to sleep. We ended up moving to the second floor, but even then the staff were yelling from the top to bottom floors early in the morning. The food was fine. Chez Isabelle was easily the best meal and service. To those with allergies, may be learn how to communicate to staff what it is in Spanish just so there’s no miscommunication. I was given a chocolate cake that had hazelnuts even though we told multiple people about my allergy. It was only until my girlfriend told them in Spanish that they finally understood and took it away with no apology. There were only two nights with amazing service from staff. The buffet was good, but repetitive and obvious that the quality got better over weekends when they expect more people. So a note for travellers that if you arrive early in the week, the buffet options will feel underwhelming. The weather was great and the resort was nice and very well maintained. It was a fine stay, but I would’ve been okay opting for a few less days"

"I stayed at this place for the casino and none of the ATMs worked. Still had a decent time but the whole point was that it was a college graduation trip for my daughter and we went there so she could gamble and then she was unable to."
