"This is my second stay, and it was even better than the first (and it is definitely not the last). While it's a full five-star hotel, it's not so big, so that it feels more like a club than an impersonal hotel. But it has all the necessary facilities. No fancy foyer or other trappings, but if you want a very quiet, clean comfortable room, in a friendly environment right next to the sea, with a terrific swimming pool, bar, restaurant, spa (small, but pleasant, and spotless), I'd recommend it. ...

"Disappointing - beware. We booked a Double Deluxe room at a very high rate at this hotel and were told at check-in that we were being given a “double upgrade” to a Jr Suite. We were initially very excited about this until we realized that although our room was a bit bigger than what we had booked, it only had 3 tiny little windows at awkward heights that looked directly into other guest rooms or level with the pool restaurant diners so we no view of anything and could not have the...

"The rooftop was excellent and the staff there was fantastic. The food on the rooftop was also excellent. The check in staff was average. Checked us in and showed us to our room, didn't show us how to operate anything and the room lighting system is awful. It's digital button operated for everything, good luck getting a light on at night. The air conditioning is Mediocre. The bathroom was tiny and the "terrace" was an interior terrace open to nothing. The double superior room is not worth...

Everything from breakfast in the morning to dinner and drinks in the evening were exceptional. The hotel is beautifully designed - chic but blending in beautifully with its ancient architecture. It's also in a wonderful location - easily walkable to all the sites. We wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and will be looking to stay...
