"We just came back from a 2 night stay at Motel Luzerne and were very happy! Even before we arrived, the hotel staff responded immediately to several questions I sent via online communication. Our room was one of 4 rooms which overlook the outdoor heated pool, which is otherwise fenced off, giving it a more private feel. We got to use the pool a few times, which really enhanced our stay. The lakefront rooms were about a 3 minute walk away, so we also got to spend some time there, enjoying the view and using the paddleboat in the pristine lake. The room was basic and the bathroom and shower (stall) were on the smaller side, but it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff responded promptly when we called to ask for anything. The bathroom lock was a little loose, but someone came to fix it as soon as we asked. Still, the bathroom door sometimes got a bit stuck. We were also able to upgrade from full-size beds to queen size, for the same price, which was nice, since I was there with 3 kids and we were sharing beds. Check-in and check-out were simple and convenient - a code was sent to me by text so we could go straight into our room. Right outside our room (and the other 3 adjoining rooms) was a deck with chairs, which was a nice place to relax. All in all we had a pleasant, enjoyable, and relaxing stay and would recommend this hotel to others who are traveling to the Lake
George area! My kids and I agreed that we would be happy to come here again!"
