Feb 15, 2020Taxi from Akumal to the resort was 250 pesos ( about $13 USD), for approximately 1 mile. Try to make a deal ahead of time. If taking the Collectivo, it will stop right in front at the entrance. This would be appropriate for traveling light)

Feb 11, 2020So i am torn, access to the beach at hotel Caribe area is expensive in my opinion. Being charged to go to a beach is not a place i will visit again

Feb 6, 2020We did a day trip to Chichen Itza and Ik-Kil Cenote, great outing! We also snorkeled at Yal-ku cenote in Akumal.
