"The cabin was clean and comfortable. the location was quiet and easy to find. The staff were on location and check in/check out was easy. The laundry facilities were good to wash clothes. I would recommend staying here. The only thing is restaurants are not close so you have to bring your own food and cook or eat before arriving."
"We we're pleasantly surprised with our stay at this days inn. Looking at it from the outside and even the lobby you might think it's not very well maintained but it is. It's just that the decor is is outdated. Our room was large, clean and very well maintained. No dings, scratches, marks, rust, stains or anything like that but the furniture and decor is outdated. The continental breakfast was decent. They had nice options for grab and go. My only complaint is my pet peeve of hotels having carpet. No Hotel should have carpet in my opinion. But we would stay here again."
"Bathrooms/shower area were exceptionally clean for the resort! Location was amazing right outside of Great Sand Dunes National Park! Sunsets and night skies were out of this world! A few things that made us give 4 stars instead of 5 was staff. Two signs leading into the park clearly say pizza available until 7. We pulled in at 6:35, starving from hiking the dunes, and the front desk staff told us she had already turned off the ovens for the night so she wasn’t going to cook anymore pizza. Either signs need to change or staff needs to be willing to do what the lodge has advertised. The other thing is that there is NO POOL as listed on Expedia. Please fix this on the property amenities. Apparently there hasn’t been a pool for 6 years. If you are staying in the domes, you don’t have a clear view of the sunset. All of the campers/RVs sit right in a row in front of the domes. You can’t see this in the pictures. Overall, great location, clean space, but poor staff."
"The room was clean and they had plenty of towels, liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner if you didn’t have any with you. The lodge was a nice stop in South Fork, CO."
"I loved this place. Strong internet. Clean. Nice room arrangement. The bathroom area was separated from the bedroom and living room area by a wall. I could get up early, take a shower, etc., early in the morning and not disturb my girlfriend. I loved the concept of the hotel being built right next to the drive-in theatre. Sadly, there was not a movie showing. I would have loved watching a movie from the room. I would like to add that the shower head was farther than six feet, two inches off the ground because I could stand fully erect in the shower. I did not have to stoop. This hotel paid the extra five or six bucks to add an additional 12 inches or so to the shower height. BRAVO!!! We enjoyed the Monte Vista wildlife area. It was a great jumping off point for the sand dunes and my property near Antonito. I'm not a breakfast fan, but the breakfast was pretty good, too. I really, really would like to recommend this hotel. I would like to see them do well and I will certainly stay there again in the future. 5-stars. A+++. A cool place to stay and a cool, movie theme for the hotel. Stay here. Do it. Highly recommended. CLEAN!!!"
