“Very clean and cozy place but if you don’t have a car or a friend who could give you a ride it’s better to use a hotel in the central village. If you drive this is the hotel. Its swimming pool is very nice as well as its garden. ”

“The spa is the only thing that saves this hotel as without it it would be a very poor hotel. Rooms are very dated, our bed was like a camp bed very uncomfortable. Breakfast in Sage took an hour to be served and it wasn’t even busy. Give staying guests at least the option to go get yoghurt and pastries etc. while they wait for the breakfast cooked meal, having to wait for everything to be served is really old hat these days. “Lovely place to spend the weekend. Beautiful buildings steeped in history. We stayed in the flint cottage which is separate from the main building, which was Lord Kitcheners temporary home while the main house was being renovated. The room was very pleasant, the bed was super comfortable. The only annoyance was there were bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower but they were all empty. We dined in the restaurant for evening and breakfast and afternoon tea and all the food...
