Adventurous hike up to this waterfall. The hike is called Glymur. We had to walk through knee high water, jump rocks, use ropes to climb up steep cliffs, cross multiple rivers, walk on side of cliffs using narrow pathways, and walk through slippery mountain sides. Well worth it and made it even more exciting of a hike. I would suggest going here when visiting Iceland. It's approximately 1 hour and a half from Reykjavik. I took this photo while I was sitting on the side of a cliff overlooking the waterfall. Birds were flying side to side to their nests. Iceland's roads are easy to navigate and you can certainly circumnavigate the island even on a short holiday. Get your bearings by doing the one day Golden Circle route out of Reykjavik. #landscapes #Iceland
