“This was a last min stay.....Staff was friendly, lady at from office very sweet. We were roomed on the 2nd floor. Room smelled clean but, was far from it. Walls/baseboards, where dirty (needs a cleaning and paint job) multiple tiles on the floor were cracked and lose. Shower needed a good subbing and regrouding. “We stayed at Suite on the first floor. The room was so spacious and the jacuzzi was nice. They have complimentary coffee and juice at reception which was also quite good. They have very kind receptionist and cleaners and the location is closed to the wholefoods market and also closed to the sea. ”

“The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks with mold on the kitchen sink. Thick dust was everywhere and the sheets and pillow cases had suspicious stains. When I went to ask if we could get a different room I was told by the front desk representative that if I didn’t like the service I could just leave. On top of that , “maintenance” knocked on my door after midnight which was very unsettling.”

“This is an older property, and it shows. We had a downstairs room and we could hear every step, scrape, chair and more from the guests upstairs. It's built around a small car park and you will hear every car that comes and goes all night long. If you';re looking for a good night's sleep you may want to look elsewhere. That aside, rates are decent for PacGrove, and it was very clean. Upcharge to have a dog in the room, which I always find a bit of a ripoff--”
