"Lovely property, great rooms - amazing pool. VERY standard food options and the bar was not very atmospheric. The staff I met were lovely though and really wanted us to relax. Concierge and management were completely the opposite though and very rude, even at check in.

The price was 1 to 2 higher than nearby apartments that offered more. On arrival our balcony doors didn’t lock. We called and someone came to check but we had to sleep feeling unsafe. "The Blaumar has everything you could possibly want for a quiet relaxing family holiday. I’ve been here twice in the last year with different ages of kids and adults and it caters for young and old. The staff are amazing from the reception staff to the staff at the pool. Fantastic entertainment. The only reason we left the hotel was to use the hotels beach bar across the road at the beach. "This is a very family centred hotel, lots of kids & pools/slides etc for them. Rooms clean & two double beds so good for a family. I was not keen on the restaurant. It was very busy, quite noisy, food not amazing, but did cater for gluten free with bread, cakes biscuits & separate toaster so good for coeliacs. As were the 4 neighbouring restaurants which was nice. If you don’t have kids I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It’s about 15 mins in a taxi from the heart of Salou so you need a taxi. No prom/walkway to get there other than local roads. A small beach at the rear of the hotel was nice. Overall a nice short 5 night break. If you want more going on this little resort is not for you , you’ll want the bigger resort next door of Salou. "
