"I absolutely loved this hotel . From the moment we checked in with the friendliest of welcomes the staff were fantastic. We parked opposite the hotel . The room was gorgeous with a view overlooking the loire. It was a superior double and was simply fantastic for the price we paid. A short stroll along the river front takes you to bars and retaurants. I would not hesitate to stay here again. . The bar prices were very reasonable too. We will definately come here again"

"Highly recommend. Excellent location & decor - spacious, with balcony window out onto Main Street. Saumur is quiet & relaxing, with plenty to see. Staff were all superb! Parking on site & air con. Breakfast/service was efficient and of a very high standard. Only negative was 3 of 4 sockets on wall next to bed were not working (had to move coffee maker). 4.5 out of 5"
