Excellent all round sums up this accommodation perfectly from the moment of our arrival to departure the next day. Wonderful welcome from the interesting & engaging hosts offering plenty of tips & advice on the locality, a well stocked bar with interesting & unusual offerings & a superb breakfast. What more could you want when visiting the amazing East Neuk of Fife.

Okay, so as long as you park within the parking space lines (for fire safety reasons) your stay at the Spindrift Guest House should be a great experience. The honesty bar in the lounge is extremely well-stocked. We did not partake, but the whisky selection according to my husband was excellent. The room is spacious and well-decorated. The bathroom is small and the height of the bath may be a bit tricky for some. No baths are allowed and I found the water temperature on the tepid side when I showered before 6am. The breakfast was a standout (especially the local black pudding if you are into that, and you should be!) There was local granola, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts and a full array of hot breakfast items. The hosts interacted well with all guests and had loads of local knowledge (try the Dory Bistro if you like superb seafood). The hosts went out of their way to let us have our breakfast a tad early as we needed to be on our way first thing. Altogether a very well priced stay.

This place blew us away!!! Beautiful house and the room (and view!) was stunning. The owners were so incredibly friendly and helpful. And holy cow, THE BREAKFAST!! Some of the best food we’ve had on this trip!! It was a very easy walk to town - we were there to see the Puffins on the Isle of May, and getting to the boat in the morning was very easy. Overall, we were sad we were only staying one night. We considered trying to change our plans, just to stay another night at that house and eat another breakfast there, but sadly, that didn’t work out.

Lovely home in the beautiful village of Anstruther. Our room was perfectly decorated and comfortable. Delightful breakfast. And best of all, the folks who run the B&B are extremely welcoming and kind. When we thought that we had missed our bus back to Edinburgh at the end of our stay, they quickly drove us to another bus stop on the other side of town where we would still be able to catch our bus. How often does that happen?! Highly recommended!

En fantastisk vistelse med det trevliga värdparet som välkomnade oss när vi anlände. Allt var planerat i detalj från in till utcheckning. Vi kunde sitta i vardagsrummet i lugn och ro och blanda oss en drink. God frukost.
