“This is an historic property and the owner has strived to maintain its historic nature. The owner was pleasant and very helpful. We stayed in the wilderness room. It was clean. The bed was very comfortable and pillows perfect for us. The breakfast prep room was well stocked with 24/7 snacks and drinks. Breakfast selections were typical to those of other three star hotels. There is a large, quaint and well appointed sitting room central to all 2nd floor rooms.”

“Our room was not clean. Bathroom was dirty and the body wash bottle was empty. A dirty towel was left behind the door. The front desk staff were very friendly and attentive. They got us switched to a new room and gave us a discount on our first night. The lobby was very clean, but when you walked in the elevator & vestibule it was hot & muggy. “Wouldn’t recommend at all, our room was supposed to be deluxe. They were cockroaches, no coffee or ice machine. No pool. Chairs with rips and mouldy bathroom. Towels had seen better days. Charged $87 a night. I wouldn’t pay $20!”
