“What a lovely place to stay. Clean, comfortable, beautiful. Our room had a view of the water. We were greeted with a smile and friendly conversation, plus some great recommendations about our travel in the area. It’s obvious that a lot of careful thought has been put into making this B&B a wonderful place. ”

“Nice property , clean and well maintained. Easy and swift check in. The advertising of the hotel focused a lot on the gym , Golf, Spa and swimming pool facilities, and I was a little annoyed to find out on reading the small print ( after we had booked) that there was a £15 per person charge to use the pool. We felt that this should be pointed out more prominently as the pool and Spa was one of the main reasons for booking.”

“The room was clean. The bathroom has been renovated with good shower pressure. However, the beds were quite uncomfortable. Note that there is no elevator on the premises - not a big deal for us but that may not be the case for everyone. Lastly, the breakfast is overpriced. I would probably go out if I were to return. At 15 pounds each, that converts to just under $30 can. Even in overpriced Toronto, that’s expensive.”

“We are now back at home after our trip. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the Whisky Vaults but the most positive thing was that the bed was comfortable. 1. Staying for 2 days but the room was not serviced. 2. Breakfast, in a brown bag appeared on the first day only. 3. Thanks to Connor, who took an item of luggage upstairs. There was no lift and the back stairs were a challenge to my wife who is waiting for an ankle operation. 4. I would not be in a hurry to recommend the Whisky...

“Great B&B . Everything we needed for an overnight stay in Oban before heading to the ferry to Mull .Very convenient and good fitness waking up the hill to the property . Taxi if not inclined to walk up hills . Really nice touch to have the breakfast cereals , juice and yogurt . Thank you .”

“The view out the front window of the hotel is beautiful. The food was ok.. not amazing. I ordered the risotto and it was terrible. We ended up walking to a nearby restaurant for drinks and their restaurant was booked and had more options. Jay the manager was super friendly and the room was comfortable and the bathrooms newly renovated and clean.”

“This hotel is in an awesome location. Unfortunately, there are a lot of stairs to get into the hotel. Then we found out that the lift was broken. We lugged our bags up many floors. Parking was also an issue. It’s advertised as being available but when we got there it was full. We were told to find parking elsewhere which was extremely hard to find. The breakfast was sufficient.”
