"Arriving at the property via the small lanes not helped by GPS navigation led to very low expectations. Once inside the gate there was a surprise. The property is an ancient convent with a lovely Chaple. The grounds a wildly planted with many different and interesting ponds, large fountains, and plantings. "Really lovely place with beautiful views of roman monuments. The only complication is that you cannot drive to the hotel as it is in the historic center - however follow the instructions you get in their email upon reservation - just for the drop off and pickup of luggage the very helpful hotel staff makes that possible! They also offer a great deal on city parking! "
