“Booked a short stay and chose Crockgarve after reading the reviews. To be honest it seemed too good to be true but I am thrilled to be proven wrong. The location and room was stunning and exactly what we needed for our stay. What really made it special was Margo. “The rooms are not the ones in the photos on the website. They are dated, freezing cold, the windows are drafty, walls are paper thin and the bathroom is very grubby. ”

There's plenty of parking & a TV in the bar showing the different sports events, with plenty of tables in different positions in the bar, as well as a separate restaurant.”

Loved decor and furnishings of mirror lighting in bathroom having big Christmas tree right outside window wintery day. Girls in room next door did wake me 1-2am with some noise though had peaceful cosy sleep otherwise great spot location so central in Moira. “Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle.”
