โThis small Inn was located in a lovely setting with a great view of the Westman Islands. The staff were so gracious and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic - especially the mussels and the bread! The spa with hot tub and sauna were terrific. A great experience for the equestrians with trail rides available! โProperty felt new and modern. Furnished tastefully and well designed. It felt like a high end experience and the facilities were excellently maintained, or potentially brand new. It was honestly hard to tell since it was overall just a really nice stay.
My wife's theory is that they are called the Puffin Houses because they are painted to look like abstract puffins with the orange beak and black body.โ
โGreat property. Our group lives in the city, so to stay in the middle of a horse farm and watch the sunset in complete silence is something we rarely get to experience. The service was accommodating. Full kitchen and appliances for cooking. Quick access to a friendly Icelandic town and other south coast attractions. โ
โStaff were super sweet! Brand new hotel in the heart of Hella. Great food and cute bar. Great way to break up the driving for a night. Very clean rooms. โ
โEven though Iโd had unfortunate bad weather and arrived late to the hotel, I enjoyed the safe place to finally relax after a long day of driving. Beautiful spot and very clean stayโ
โVery communicative host- we realized we didnโt have our check in instructions but were easily able to reach our host. Laundry is not inside all the apartments but is present on the property. Would be awesome to have some towel hooks inside the bathroom for our bigger towels but otherwise had everything we needed!โ
โWe stayed in the family room with the priate bathroom. Its on the first floor and was a lovely room with a modern bathroom. Its right next to the kitchen, but its alsp on the ground floor so you may hear some noise from the upstairs guests.
This guesthouse is right next to Gott, which is a FABULOUS restaurant at which we dined for both lunch and dinner. It's within a few blocks of a pharmacy and one of the hiking trailheads. โ
