We had a great time! Our only complaint was that the valet back our car over another on Saturday morning. It did not hurt our car but we still addressed it with the manager and they took care of us! We loved the room that we had! Another note if you order DoorDash you have to go downstairs to meet the dasher but no big deal! Very good stay!

This was the worst stay with Marriott, the room was dirty the bed was ripped and stained, I asked for extra blankets never got them. The parking lot was closed and they forced us to use Valet and charged a lot for it. Overall bad experience, so sad as I use Marriott a lot. Do better !!! Such a nice area for an ugly experience!!!

Horrible - Pre-Paid Reservation not Honored
Reservation had 1 person arriving for a 2 night stay and 2 people arriving for a one night stay. Hotel was contacted the day prior to arrival and reservation confirmed and was prepaid. 1st traveler - no hot water the 1st morning; when travelers 2 & 3 dropped luggage off to be held and entered the lobby there was a strong smell of marijuana; travelers 2 & 3 returned at 10pm after business and dinner meeting and told the hotel had overbooked and the reservation would not be honored; hotel refused to relocate the two travelers because the reservation was made through a "third party" Hotels.com. Hotels.com did offer to relocate when contacted at 10:30pm but travelers had found other accommodations and relocated. The room charges were refunded. Two young female attorneys turned away after 10:00 pm with all hotels in area booked. Reservations will never be made with the Marriott Atlanta Midtown Peachtree at 17th and a complaint will be filed with Marriott Corporate. This hotel is a terrible advertisement for the Marriott Group and there needs to be serious consideration to replacing the management.

Never Again
This was my worst hotel stay ever. After checking in, I received alerts from my bank that both the card I used to book the room and the card I provided to pay for the room were charged. After going to the front desk and explaining what happened and which card SHOULD be used to pay, the wrong card was still charged. After checking in, we showered in preparation for the music fest. The hot water in the bathroom never got hot. It hovered between lukewarm and cold. I didn’t make a big deal about it because I was trying to get to the fest. Showered after returning from the fest and the water was a tad bit warmer than earlier in the day. Day 2, the water situation was worse than day 1. I called the front desk, was told the engineer would come to my room. After an hour, I called the front desk again. Again, I was told the engineer would come up. Another hour passed. I called corporate and was told someone would contact me. That still hasn’t happened. I heard members of the cleaning staff walking by my room. So, I peeked out and asked if the engineer was on the way. They got him on the phone and he came up. He stated that he hadn’t been informed there was an issue with my room. He came in ran the water in the bathroom for a few minutes and told me what already knew…the water wasn’t getting hot. We missed most of the festival activities (the reason for the trip) because we had to wait a long time, between showers for the water to reach a manageable temperature.

Much better than VRBO
We found ourselves without a place to stay on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving when VRBO cancelled our reservation due to double-booking the property. With relatives about to land on two flights that night, we had to find alternate housing quickly. We booked this sight unseen because we needed a full kitchen and a place with easy access for some older relatives. We had a wonderful time. We stayed in two of the 2 BR apartments, so we had plenty of space and plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner. When we realized we forgot the salt, a staff member opened up the breakfast room and let us get what we needed. We were close to a Marta station for easy transit to and from ATL. Breakfast was provided, which gave us a leisurely start to the day. We enjoyed walking around Midtown Atlanta. It was far cleaner and roomier than the VRBO we had reserved. Lesson learned. Choose an apartment-like hotel if available instead of a risky home rental. Thanks for a great stay!

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had nice amenities, but was showing its age in minor cosmetic ways. Overall a great stay for the price and I would definitely visit again.

No restaurant at the property or convenient. Only parking was valet parking at very high price.

Room was clean and staff was friendly for the most part. Only complaint was that the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and the valet worker made it obvious that he was stressed about the system not showing that we had paid for our parking, even after showing him the receipt. We understand that stressful moments happen at work. Biggest complaint was the bed not being very comfortable.
