Location is also great 90% of what you would want to see here is within 15 min walk in any direction. It is also close to the Sabanin parking area 1 min away, where if you get dropped off you won’t have to lug your bags across the city to get to your room. But be prepared for lots of steps there.”

My 14-year-old son and I were backpacking through Morocco when he spotted this riad on Expedia during our bus ride to Chefchaouen. “The Guest House was fantastic. The road leading up to the guest house left you doubting how the guest house would be. However, the guest house itself along with the staff and the facilities are exceptional. Very nicely kept, great sized rooms and great breakfast options in the morning make this a perfect stay option. It is a little bit of a distance from the Medina, but it was so peaceful and the views were exceptional. Overall A+++ experience. ”

“It was a newly renovated Dar style riad (no garden in the courtyard), but the mosaic details were amazing. In keeping with the Chafchaouen style, the whole riad was covered in blue-and-white mosaic, creating an ethereal experience. It is located within easy walking distance of all the tourist spots. For us it was a perfect location being out of the centre as we had a car but if you don’t have a car it is close enough to get into the main centre by walking or taxi.
