"The room is listed as 1.7 km from center. What's not said is it's up a VERY steep mountain. That made it sometimes unwalkable. We're walkers, but had a back problem. We did walk down one day, but not the Google Maps route which requires multiple long up-down stairways. They clean with some god-awful toxic-smelling stuff that caused me respiratory problems. The Hotels.com price listed is significantly lower than what I was actually charged with somewhat hidden fees etc. so beware of that. ...

Sent an email and finally got a response saying that they were not expecting me because I never confirmed my reservation even though I did not receive any type of communication from them. "I stayed in a room overlooking a garden, every thing was beautiful. There was a shared bathroom but nobody else was staying there so I had the bathroom all to myself and I used the kitchen daily to make tea and small meals. It's a perfect location, walkable to shops, restaurants, the plaza, the malecon, the bus station, yet still quiet and tucked away. I had a biotuning session while I was there which was amazing. I was also able to attend a beautiful cacao ceremony while I was there. "

"The hotel is located in an excellent location you can walk 3 minutes to the church and restaurants all over so thats perfect, but it is a very small room with no closet or large mirror to check your outfit out.
