Great location for a short stay. Location is far enough from the expressway and close enough to give you easy access to neighborhood amenities such as shopping and restaurants. The staff was very inviting and helpful all appeared to be happy to be at work. Cookies and spa water is available for guest as you enter. The breakfast is the typical hotel breakfast. I was pleased to have the option of turkey sausage. One of the biggest perks from traveling in California was that the property had free parking and I noticed a security guard monitoring overnight. Great stay.

I did not get a chance to use the amenities. But I do plan on returning to this hotel Holiday Inn express was a very clean property very easy to park. It was also so easy to check in no lines. It was so quick and easy smile at the front desk when you walk in get greeted all I know great experience. And don’t forget the free breakfast don’t pass that up. Go check out their machine that makes pancakes. It looks like a 3-D printer. It’s so cool. The kids will love it. Push a button pop. Come out two pancakes.

The breakfast was a nice and tasty variety that included crispy bacon or turkey sausage. I took my breakfast up to my room and was offered a tray to help me carry it! I enjoyed everything about my stay including the room, staff, location and attractive lobby. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at Holiday Inn & Suites Bakersfield. The rooms were very modern and clean, which made the stay comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety of choices and was definitely a nice added bonus. Will stay here again.
