I call it a boutique hotel because it has independent shops and restaurants around a courtyard. Our room was spacious, clean and the hotel offered a complimentary cooked breakfast in the morning. The desk attendants were professional and very helpful. Cylburn Arboretum is close by and wonderful place to walk around if you have some time to stroll. Highly recommend this hotel if staying in north Baltimore.

The hotel and rooms are very large and everything was clean if not a little older. There was a strong smell of pot in the hallway to our room but the room was clear from odor. I wish there was a double lock on the door between the rooms for more security.
Staff was welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was included and had many choices beyond pastries and cereal. I was pleasantly surprised that the property was attached to a small shopping village. The hotel lobby was clean, open, and large. It lead out into the shopping village.
Our room was generally clean, but there was some dust on the furniture behind lamps that was clearly not dusted along with everything else. The furniture could use updating. There was a dresser and desk that did not match. The dresser was worn and the finish was bubbling. The bathroom could use some updating as the caulking is dirty and the faucets looks old.
Our room had what looked like a terrace. There were sliding glass doors that opened to the terrace. There were similar accesses to the terrace in the hallways. However, the terrace was not a welcoming place. It had piles of dirt and rubbish. We visited in April, so it's possible it was still not prepared for spring.
Very nice staff. Ended up in nice room but first two abandoned due to broken toilet and then horrible smell. They let us check out at 2pm because daughter was having surgery at hospital. This was most appreciated. The property needs a spruce up but we had a good stay. The staff kindness made up for propertyโs aging and need for Reno.
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice location, but honestly the hotel is a bit tired. Stained carpets, lights in bath didn't work well, peeling wall coverings, dirty elevators.
The hotel is fine. My room was comfortable and pretty clean. The bathroom could use some work. The breakfast was not very good but kudos to the woman managing it. She was very good. The day I was leaving, I called the front desk and requested a late checkout for noon, rather than 11:00am which the front desk granted. At 11:00, housekeeping knocked on my door asking me when I was leaving. I said I had a noon checkout. About 15 minutes later, I got a call from the front desk asking me when I was leaving. I reiterated my noon checkout. Fifteen minutes after that, someone knocked very loudly on my door. I opened it and two hotel staff members were outside asking me when I was leaving. I repeated that I had a late check out, that I had already spoken to three different hotel staff members, and that I would be leaving at NOON. They agreed to it again and told me they were not asking me to leave (but clearly they were.) Not the best farewell experience.
