"It was okay very dated and nothing nearby except a busy road. No Swimming pool or facilities of any sort. Rooms were clean but Bed was hard. All in all could not expect any more for the very reasonable price so ideal for budget stay. Staff friendly And simple toast and cereal for breakfast on the patio ideal for our needs. "

"Our (2 adults, 1 child) stay at Maneechan was lovely, a very large resort in Chanthaburi. Excellent breakfast with Thai, Chinese and Western options including a great coffee. The pool is wonderful for children, however loud music is played from about midday on, and the rooms are not soundproofed, so not very relaxing either by the pool or in your room. Very clean and large rooms."

"Although we enjoyed our stay here the overall impression of the hotel is that it really needs updating. The rooms were tired, with many issues such as dated curtains that were either open or closed. As we had a ground floor beach front villa this gave little/no privacy if the curtains were open. Net type curtains in the main bedroom at least would have improved this. "Firstly readers should note that the Resort has recently had a change of ownership, so past comments should be read with caution. The resort (like the whole island) was very quiet but Value For Money. However it should be Noted that there is limited Car Parking and the road to it is narrow with sharp bends. But is situated in an ideal area near shops, Bars, massage parlours and Restaurants (Buffalo Bills is Highly Recommended). Two negatives (which I’m sure in time will be rectified) are the Rooms are serviced every other day, but Bottled water and Coffee are delivered daily, meaning soiled toilet paper, food waste etc remain in the bin for two days. Also there are no advertised operating times for the Restaurant and Bar, meaning that when we returned at 21:00 for a nightcap the Bar had closed because it was quiet. I cannot blame them for closing, but there was no advanced warning this may happen. All said and done it was a very pleasant stay and would happily return as we were treated very well."
