“The hotel is well located a few minutes walk to the beach. The staff are great and attentive to all your needs. They go the extra mile all the time to ensure your stay is special. Breakfast is excellent with all cusines available. The NY eve gala dinner had live music, superb food banquet and a beach bbq. Seafood, meat and sushi available. Like a wedding feast. Great fun and well organised.”

She was so nice to us, my wife was pregnant and even let us stay a bit longer whilst we waited for our taxi as she wasn't feeling well. What a lovely human being! “For us 33 Lake Terrace was the nicest hotel we stayed at during our time in Sri Lanka. The hotel is beautifully designed, the location at the lake is so peaceful and beautiful - simply amazing. “I don’t even know where to begin to describe this place. It felt like home from the very moment we arrived and were warmly welcomed by the amazing staff. Our room was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and we were even upgraded to a larger room. Breakfast and coffee was delicious. We felt so genuinely cared for throughout our stay that we honestly wished we could have stayed forever. A big shoutout to everyone working there (also to our yoga teacher, Nathalie) who made our first four days...
